Hakuchoro is renowned for its onsen (hot springs) and is a luxury hotel that offers either western style rooms or traditional Japanese style rooms with tatami mats. The rooms are particularly spacious, the largest can accommodate up to eight people. The Hakuchoro has two restaurants and a cafe, and the rooms (all twin) are well equipped, with beds that are 1m20 wide (exceptionally large for a twin room). Decorated in a japanese neo-classical style (19th century) the hotel also promotes local crafts and has a shop.
