Foodtopia Land, one of the events of Foodtopia Kanazawa 2012 which is an annual fest for food connoisseurs gathering in Kanazawa from all over Japan, is where you can enjoy Ishikawas winter ingredients and stage performances.
In the Central Park, a fireplace village, stand village, and ramen corner will be set up and crowded with many visitors of families and friends wanting to taste the winter foods.
Fireplace Village
The fireplace village is very familiar in the Foodtopia Land. 50 sets of about 1 meter-long barbeque grills will be lined up there, and you can enjoy cooking such bounties caught in the Sea of Japan as oysters (with shells) and squids directly sent from Noto Peninsula, then you can enjoy the very fresh and delicious winter flavor of Ishikawa.
Stand Village
There will be around 100 sets of tents set up in the park where Japanese, Western, Chinese, and different ethnic foods using various ingredients from all over Japan, are available.
Ramen Corner
This is the most popular corner always crowded with queuing ramen-lovers. Many famous ramen shops will take part in the event from all over Japan like Sapporo, Kitakata, Hakata, and etc.
Stage Events
A special stage will be set up in the venue, and all kinds of performances will be displayed during the fest. A variety of attractions are featured such as mini-concerts by singers, local performing arts by a group of drummers, etc.

Note: During the event, both Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden will be illuminated from 17:30 to 21:00 (entrance by 20:45). Admission is free.
